Pyramid’s 2025 release enhances embedded analytics with a new natural language search bar for interactive data queries, supports multi-tenant database management via automatic data source swapping within a common semantic model, improves embedded content formatting to better match host applications, and incorporates numerous user-requested features including using the built-in spreadsheet interface as a data source for analytic model building.
Enhanced Embedding Capabilities and User-Requested Features
Pyramid’s 2025 release significantly expands the platform’s embedded analytics capabilities. It delivers new functionality to meet the augmented analytics needs of current and future OEM partners, while also improving in-house embedded solutions for enterprise customers. This release includes dozens of enhancements and features requested by Pyramid users.
Embedded Search Bar
Pyramid’s User Hub allows users to edit their main views within embedded dashboards. The new search bar is a generic natural language tool that lets users ask questions about their data. The interface can generate relevant visual content, which users can save and place in any tab within their Hub.
Database Tender
Pyramid now supports separate database servers, databases, or both from a common semantic model in a multi-tenant solution. Each tenant’s data source is swapped automatically, while allowing the provision of common content, analytic queries, dashboards, calculations, publications, and more. This makes developing and maintaining multi-tenant and multi-data source solutions easier and faster.
Enhanced Embedded Formatting
This release extends the individual formatting capabilities of embedded content. Users have greater control in matching the look and feel, color schemes, and font palettes of the embedded content to those of the host application.

Pyramid listens to its users’ needs and requirements. In this release, dozens of enhancements and new features requested by users through the interactive customer product ideas forum have been delivered.
Some Standout Enhancements
- Tabulate as a data source: Pyramid’s built-in spreadsheet interface can now be used as a source for further model builds. This enables using spreadsheet functionality (like cross-calculations between unrelated data sources) to deliver source data for analytic model builds.
- Tabulate dynamic queries: Pyramid’s Discover queries can now remain dynamic within a Tabulate sheet, extending the flexibility of spreadsheet-oriented solutions and creating new options for analytic applications.
- Data flow LLM switch: Expanding on Pyramid’s integration with multiple large language models (LLMs), users can now select the desired LLM within a data flow processing block.
- Layered maps: Create geospatial analytic visualizations with multiple layers, such as color coding an area and overlaying coordinate point information.
- Data lasso: Available for both maps and point charts, this freeform lasso tool allows selection and interaction with multiple data points.
- Fairness analysis: This feature can identify any bias in analytic insights generated through LLM interaction.
- Query optimization: New optimization strategies for both SAP BW and SQL queries accelerate execution.
- Delayed slicer execution: When many slicers are present, this option lets users delay slicer interactions until all are set.
